SELECTIONS & LEAD TIME
When working with a contractor or manufacturer you may hear the term “lead time”. Essentially, lead time is the total time required to facilitate a selection, order, manufacture, prepare, transport, and receive materials on the jobsite.
When ordering material at Lindahl Construction we always want to ensure that the correct material is or dered and at the correct prices. You may think ordering material for construction to be a quick and easy task, but there are multiple processes happening behind the scenes that are critical to the schedule of a jobsite.
Below you will find a general list of processes that go into proper ordering and installation of a product or application. This can be used as a general template for any application in construction.
